Ann Ryan — Hope is the Key

Hope is the Key

Ann Ryan worked with a group of mothers in public housing to write one sentence about their hopes for their children. Ann talked with several of the residents of Sagner, a public housing community near the fairgrounds and there is great interest in working together to create a statement of hope through this public art project. The residents are part of a program called Project ALIVE at the Housing Authoritiy, which serves over 200 families. Public housing participating in public art is a great concept! They believe this statement of hope might inspire others, including some of our community's youth to strive for higher goals to find a positive path to success. The "Hope is the Key" project will inspire us all.
