Susan McCarrick attended Montgomery College in Rockville, MD and lives in Myersville. Her personal statement includes: "Frederick has embarked on an exciting adventure of bringing artists and community organizations together to plan new works of public art. In conjunction with urban revitalization and community development this endeavor will certainly enliven the spirit of community in Frederick and its surrounding towns. These efforts celebrate Frederick's unique identity and offer ways to invigorate and complement public space. As a Frederick area resident I am excited to have the opportunity to participate in this art project and I look forward to this new and rewarding art adventure."
