Thank You Frederick!

The thirty fiberglass keys were auctioned off to the highest bidders the evening of November 1, 2007. The auction gala featured entertainment by the Frederick Children's Chorus, Maryland Ensemble Theatre, dancer Jen Dobbins, sword fighters, and a quartet from the Frederick Symphony Orchestra. Frederick County Commission President Jan Gardner served as the celebrity auctioneer. The auction and the entire project was a huge success. The Frederick Arts Council would like to thank all the artists, sponsors, volunteers, and everyone involved. As a result, approximately $40,000 was raised for the arts in Frederick County.

Keys to Frederick Poster Available for Purchase
A limited-edition poster featuring images of all thirty keys is now available for purchase from the Frederick Arts Council. The cost is $10.00. The poster is intended to serve as a companion poster to "The Doors of Fredericktowne" poster printed several years ago. Call 301-662-4190 for more details.
